Built by a community, one house at a time
Hope Town began in the autumn of 2019 and has grown into a full recovery ecosystem for Windham, Ohio.
Hope Town is founded
A $175,000 donation from the Regina Rebhan Foundation, paired with two townhouses donated by Neighborhood Development Services, gave Hope Town its start in Windham, Ohio.
The community shows up
Judges, commissioners, police and probation officers, teachers, church groups, and neighbors volunteered restoring the houses — plus donated washers, dryers, furniture, and kitchenware.
Hope on Wheels launches
Conceived by house manager Karl Yon, Hope on Wheels began providing credentialed Medicaid rides to close a critical transportation gap for residents and the community.
A contracted care partner
